Jean Fajardo

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who served as a NFL team clinician for 5 + years, where I bring forth proven techniques working with elite athletes to my current practice. I specialize in psychotherapy for high-achieving individuals who consistently navigate intense pressure, demanding performance standards, and intricate relational dynamics. My practice is designed for those who are not only capable and driven but also seek meaningful growth beyond surface-level interventions. The foundation of my therapeutic process is built on discretion, depth, and structure, ensuring a confidential and transformative experience tailored to each client’s needs.

My understanding of high-performance is not only professional but lived. Coming from a background of ballet, and dancing professionally, as well as dancing as an NFL Cheerleader. I experienced firsthand how competitive environments can cultivate exceptional discipline while also reinforcing overachievement, perfectionism, and the drive to override personal limits. Later, life within professional sports deepened my understanding pf performance-based identity, public pressure and the emotional consequences that can follow major life and career transitions. This perspective informs my work with clients who appear successful, but privately carry the weight of pressure, loss, reinvention and emotional exhaustion
