Home/About
Jean Fajardo, LCSW, performance psychotherapist and former NFL team clinician in Las Vegas

Most people who walk into a therapist's office have to spend weeks explaining what it feels like to operate under real pressure, what it costs to perform at an elite level, what the culture of professional sports or executive leadership actually looks like from the inside, and why asking for help feels like weakness in environments that treat it that way. My clients do not have to explain that. I already know.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a graduate degree from the University of Nevada Las Vegas and 24 years of experience in the mental health field. For five of those years, I served as a clinician embedded directly with an NFL team, working with professional athletes, navigating locker room culture, and treating the full emotional reality of what it means to perform at the highest level in professional sports.

My understanding of high performance is not only professional. It is lived. I trained as a ballet dancer and performed professionally. I danced as an NFL cheerleader. I have lived in competitive environments where discipline is expected, perfectionism is the baseline, and showing any form of struggle is treated as a liability. That experience does not make me a better therapist by accident, it makes me a fundamentally different kind of therapist by design.

I specialize in psychotherapy for high-achieving individuals who consistently navigate intense pressure, demanding performance standards, and intricate relational dynamics. My practice is designed for those who are not only capable and driven but also ready for meaningful growth beyond surface-level interventions. The foundation of my therapeutic process is built on discretion, depth, and structure, ensuring a confidential and transformative experience tailored to each client's specific situation.
